Accelerated Computing Network Engineer

THE PERSON:  

As a Systems Design Engineering, you will drive balanced, scalable, and automated solutions. In this high visibility position, your software systems engineering expertise will be necessary towards product development, definition, and root cause resolution.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Driving technical innovation to improve AMD’s scale-out performance.
• Documenting configuration and best practices tuning guides
• Interfacing with networking partners and software/hardware engineers
• Providing support for large scale deployments
• Working with software developers on network performance enhancements 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

• RDMA network configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning. 
• Linux kernel networking expertise
• Industry-standard performance benchmarks (ML & HPC)
• System and software performance debug tools
• Distributed computing performance troubleshooting experience
• Machine learning and/or HPC system design

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  

Bachelors or Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering
