The Accounting Intern will provide support to the Accounting and Tax team in gathering, validating and substantiating vendor and staff claim invoices. You will perform accounts reconciliation and filing of supporting documents, preparation of reports and other ad hoc tasks required by the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Validate compliance of official receipts and Invoices to BIR’s invoicing requirements
- Gather and compile supporting documents per VAT returns
- Coordinate rectification of non-compliant invoices with vendors
- Prepare reports and other supporting schedules as needed
- Other ad hoc accounting tasks
- Taking up Accountancy or any business-related courses
- Knowledge in basic Accounting Principles
- Good English communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Self-starter and willing to learn
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Customer oriented, hardworking and accountable
- Must be able to commit fulltime and onsite internship
