Senior Administrator – CTO Team
THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide support to our global CTO team. This is a hybrid role based in our Regional HQ in Citywest, Dublin. This diverse team of engineering professionals is growing at a fast pace in a rapidly changing technology environment and has responsibility for some of AMD’s most successful products. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, organised and highly professional administrator that is looking for a new challenge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide all aspects of admin support to the team leader, a Fellow Engineer and her broader team members.
- Expense filing duties.
- Travel bookings for the team.
- Co-ordination of hiring & interview logistics as well new hire on-boarding.
- Intern hiring coordination & termination processing.
- Pushing publications through the authors program.
- Letters of support for universities.
- Prepare and process purchasing requisitions for supplies.
- Co-ordination of team attendance at training courses and conferences.
- Provide regular communications on engineering highlights & achievements through various platforms.
- Liaise with administrators/EAs at other AMD locations.
- Engage with IT department to plan equipment upgrades and computer replacements.
- Provide ad hoc support to other teams if required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an administrator working in a multi-national/matrix environment.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organised.
- Ability to provide professional delivery and timely support, whist anticipating the needs of the team.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects in a timely manner.
- Proven mastery of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of SAP & Concur Expense Management would be beneficial but not essential.
