THE ROLE:
We are looking for an Analog Designer Engineer that wants to be a part of a new and innovative analog opportunity within AMD. This opportunity is a chance to create a new analog technology that will be used by several of AMD’s next generation compute, graphics, and gaming products. Ideal for an individual looking to produce cutting edge analog/mixed signal architectures and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with senior engineers on architecture and specifications of analog circuits
- Design transistor-level analog circuits in advanced process nodes
- Hold design reviews and document your designs
- Support system-level verification of circuits that you design
- Supervise custom layout
- Participate in bring-up and validation of initial silicon
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Analog IC design experience
- Exposure to deep submicron CMOS analog design (FinFET preferred)
- Relevant coursework relating to analog IC design
- Exposure to the design of one or more of the following circuits: Bandgap, Biasing Circuits, Comparators, Oscillators, SAR ADC, ΔΣ ADC, DAC, PLL, Filters, LDO, Amplifiers, Buck/Boost Converters
- Background in feedback loop theory
- Knowledge of analog concepts such as mismatch, linearity, and stability
- Exposure to lab equipment used to debug analog/mixed-signal circuits
- Basic experience with Matlab, VerilogA, and/or Python
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) with relevant experience
