Reporting to a Lead Producer, the FC Live Content Producer works closely with the production, product management, art, and quality verification teams to create compelling live content for EA SPORTS FC. 

The FC Live Content Producer will have a rare mix of strategic knowledge, creative instinct that can translate data and ideas into relevant plans that benefit our players. You will also need a good eye for product quality and consumer usability. You have great attention to detail, and you will have taken into account every possibility within your creation.

If you enjoy working on a production team, developing content for millions of fans, while evaluating existing ideas/processes and coming up with new ones, this is the role for you!

 

Responsibilities:

The FC Live Content Producer will work with others on the team to build live content designs, using complex spreadsheets, design documents and internal tools.

  • Translate real-world football events into live content ideas/plans on short notice, which may sometimes require flexible work hours to mirror real-world football events.
  • Develop live content plans and strategies to implement with the goal of retaining and engaging players, based on data you have collected from dashboards, peers or through other research.
  • Work directly in custom tools to create, verify, and publish live content to our players.
  • Work with the quality verification team to ensure all content is at the expected quality standards.
  • Work with other Producers to meet deadlines, targets and priority changes.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and art teams to coordinate deliverables and ensure the highest quality and success.
  • Become an expert on the game and our community, drawing from our large, varied player base and our past games to make and defend intelligent design choices going forward.
  • Be resourceful and solve problems using the tools and time/scope available to create unique and fun experiences for players.
  • Have an eye for establishing and improving processes to make life easier for the Content Production team.
  • Help establish best practices for the team and lead by example.

 

Your Skills & Experience:

  • 2-4 years experience working on a live service product, with relevant experience in production, product management, quality verification or game design being a plus.
  • High levels of attention to detail, with a proven track record of being able to spot defects or issues that may not be apparent at first glance.
  • Good eye for game quality and advocate for the end-user experience.
  • You are a football (soccer) fan and you are familiar with players, teams and leagues from the men’s and women’s game.
  • Experience with game production tools and Project Management software are a plus.
  • Experience working with a remote team through all phases of the live product cycle.
  • An understanding of the core mechanics of Ultimate Team and other core game modes within FC.
  • Ability to think outside the box to solve complex time sensitive problems.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in improving team efficiencies and processes.
  • A/B testing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of in-game economy management and power curve balancing.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.


BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $78,500 - $119,650 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $73,150 - $119,650 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $84,750 - $119,650 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $73,150 - $97,500 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $73,150 - $105,250 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $63,350 - $98,800 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
