Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for an Associate Character Scan Technician to join the development of a new IP.

As a member of our Art department, you will be an integral part of our mission to bring immersive and captivating characters to life in our video game worlds. Collaborating closely with the art leads and directors, you will be responsible for sourcing and preparing an extensive library of character garment and prop assets through the use of scanning and photogrammetry. If you have a technical aptitude, passion costume design and interest in 3D character art, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and make a meaningful impact on our cutting-edge game projects.

You’ll help us by…
Collaborate closely with art leads and directors to ensure scanned assets meet quality standards set for the project.
Work as part of the Photogrammetry Team to build and organize a library of scanned assets for the project.
Responsible for sourcing garments, props, weapons, etc. to be captured.
Work closely with production team to plan and track tasks according to project needs and scope.
Utilize industry-standard photogrammetry and scanning equipment and software to capture the highest quality data possible.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance our capturing process and facility.
Participate in testing and feedback processes to identify and address issues, bugs, and improvements.

Passion for photogrammetry and other scanning techniques.
Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and work under tight deadlines.
Bonus points for…
Experience working industry standard photogrammetry and scanning equipment.
Experience working with production software (eg. JIRA, Shotgrid, Perforce).
Experience constructing photogrammetry rigs.
