Your Mission:
The Live Ops Analytics Team is seeking a dedicated Associate Data Analyst to work directly with our studios and Call of Duty (COD) Live Services Team. As part of the Live Ops Team, your mission will be to drive data-driven decision-making. You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, business partners, and analytics peers to derive meaningful insights that enhance gameplay design and guide commercial strategies. Partner with studios to analyze core game systems and implement gameplay analytics in support of the development goals of designers and engineers


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with studios to analyze core game systems, implementing gameplay analytics that align with the development goals of designers and engineers.

  • Partner with the Live Services Team to optimize game features, balance game economies, and identify new ways to boost player engagement.

  • Support and drive analytics initiatives within a cross-functional team to inform design and implementation decisions, both current and future.

  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.

  • Insight Translation: Delivering precise, actionable insights that drive decisions and improvements.

  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding the player attitude to derive and communicate insights that shape design and engagement strategies.

Player Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field (e.g., data analytics, data science, statistics, economics, or mathematics).

  • 1+ years of experience with SQL and R/Python for data analysis and visualization.

  • A passion for storytelling through data, turning complex datasets into compelling narratives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse partner relationships and expectations.

  • Experience in gameplay analysis or knowledge of user engagement and
    monetization strategies in gaming, entertainment, e-commerce, or mobile apps is a plus.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $27.64 - $51.14 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
