THE PERSON:
You are proficient in desktop and notebook platform architecture, OS and software applications, and basic PC debug/troubleshooting techniques. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and time management, outstanding collaborative skills and superior written and oral communication skills. You can easily prioritize tasks, and are used to working under pressure to meet tight timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reproduce and debug technical issues for prioritized end customer accounts of HPI.
Work with AMD internal teams to resolve root cause of technical issues.
Enable leadership team members to align on a workaround and resolution strategy.
Communicate findings to HPI customer response team members, and to end customer, on direction of leadership team members.
Collaborate with HPI GAM Sales members and AMD Client, Graphics and Embedded. Business Unit members on new product targets.
Coordinate all aspects of design-in/design-win/NPI efforts for assigned product line(s).
Remain up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions and benchmarking/performance metrics.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
A combination of relevant academic and professional experience.
Proven related industry experience.
Hands on experience in the setup and configuration of notebook and desktop systems including software, networking and storage infrastructure.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
