Your Mission

Do you want build and streamline high impact workflows for some of the largest game franchises in the world? Activision is looking for an Associate Lead Release Engineer to help drive the delivery of our PC catalog to millions of players worldwide.

We’re looking for someone who can bridge technical, business, and production subject areas to help drive the team to deliver the best user experience possible - on time every time! You’ll collaborate with development, QA, commercial, and operations teams to manage products from creation through test and final deployment.

About You

  • 6+ years of experience architecting, configuring, and administrating games on a major platform (PC experience preferred - Steam, Battle.net, Microsoft Store, Ubisoft+, Epic Games Store)
  • 1+ year(s) experience supervising and mentoring other team members.
  • At least two shipped AAA titles.
  • Excellent multi-functional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working with or in mature build pipelines and build infrastructure at scale.
  • Proficiency in Python, or a similar scripting language.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills.
  • Strong interest in automation and security.
  • Love of games.

Bonus Points

  • Experience configuring and monitoring content delivery networks.
  • Experience writing PC installers.
  • Background in C++, Javascript, Typescript, Django & React.
  • Experience in other areas of video game technology.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $101,000.00 - $186,754.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
