Job Description
As Associate Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, you will be responsible for strategizing and executing data-driven campaigns that engage, retain, and monetize our players across different channels through different stages of the player journey. You will work closely with many cross-functional teams to understand the needs and preferences of our target audience, identify user segments, optimize campaign performance, and craft personalized messages and experiences that delight our players. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that is passionate about creating amazing gaming experiences for our global audience.
Responsibilities
Strategizing and ideating data-driven and creative lifecycle marketing campaigns that engage, retain, and monetize players across various channels by delivering personalized and relevant messages to the right players at the right time.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as brand marketing, product, studio, creative, digital, analytics, and more to ensure marketing campaigns align with overall business strategy and brand positioning as well as community sentiment.
Executing and optimizing marketing campaigns across email, in-game messaging, SMS/WhatsApp, and other channels, to drive key performance indicators, such as retention, engagement, winback, conversion, and revenue.
Conducting A/B testing and experimentation to optimize marketing campaign effectiveness and player experience.
Writing copy and requesting assets for marketing campaigns that align with the overall strategy, KPIs, brand positioning, and community sentiment.
Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in lifecycle marketing and gaming industry.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Demonstrated experience strategizing, building, and deploying cross-channel user journeys in Braze, including examples of campaigns that showcase personalization, automation, and ongoing optimization.
Must be comfortable collaborating with data engineers to set up new custom attributes, events, and other data structures in Braze, with a strong understanding of the pros and cons of different methods for ingesting data to build scalable solutions and effective user profiles.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment.
Excellent at collaborating with many cross-functional teams and effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
Proactive and solution-oriented in overcoming challenges and roadblocks.
Creative thinking and data-driven approach.
Proven track record of project management and strong attention to detail.
Expertise in creating content, writing copy, and evaluating and approving messages.
A growth mindset, with the ability to test, learn, and iterate from data.
A degree in marketing, communications, or related skill sets.
A passion for gaming and an understanding of the gaming industry trends, or an enthusiasm to learn.
3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, as a marketing strategist, marketing manager, or similar role preferred. Bonus if there is previous experience in the gaming industry.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $72,720.00 - $134,460.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
