EA Experiences Business Operations: 

The EA Experiences Business Operations function is part of the Office of the CXO and has been established to strengthen business unit operations and planning. We lead the strategic activities that drive focus for Experiences goals & key initiatives and unlock the power of cross-team collaboration.  These deliver breadth for XO through expertise in business planning, people & culture enablement, strategic workforce planning, employee communications, billing and operations to scale the application of these bodies of work across the organization.

The Associate Project Manager role is a full-time position that reports into the Director of Operations. In this role you will partner with a cross functional group of stakeholders to organize, plan, coordinate and oversee operations on Business Operations projects end to end.  You will assist with timeline development, ensure on schedule progress, set up and facilitate project forums.  To be successful in this role, you are able to work independently under guidance to plan and manage complex programs and workstreams, identify gaps and solve blockers and prioritize clear and ensure timely stakeholder engagement along the way.   

You'll get to work with a range of experienced, passionate and diverse people across the organization and report to the Director, Operations, EA Experiences.

 

The Project Manager will:

 

  • Manage small/medium scale cross-regional and cross-functional projects, including vendor teams
  • Develop and maintain project plans and track plan progress including managing risk mitigation
  • Set and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues
  • Communicate project status reports to project teams, program owners, leadership staff
  • Conduct project retrospectives and project closures
  • Make suggestions for project management team improvements
  • Work with the Business Operations program owners to manage work within the product line

 

 

 

A successful Project Manager has applied knowledge of the following and enjoys learning to apply these flexibly as required:

  • PMO standards and practices
  • Project prioritization
  • Using data to build a business case
  • Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Risk and dependency tracking and mitigation
  • PPM tools and their implementation in our environment

  • Can consolidate information and data to share with stakeholders
  • Scope and propose the work needed for new engagements
  • Identify issues and recommend process improvements
  • Stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment and proactively flag bandwidth constraints
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing business models and organizational structures
  • Ability to work cross functionally with senior leaders while being proactive and solution oriented
  • Work effectively across global time zones

 

Experience

  • Applied experience managing multiple concurrent projects 
  • Expertise in business tools such as: Google Suite, Jaas, and Smartsheet and Airtable

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.


BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $78,500 - $119,650 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $73,150 - $119,650 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $84,750 - $119,650 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $73,150 - $97,500 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $73,150 - $105,250 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $63,350 - $98,800 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. "
