Madden QA is looking for you to fill an Associate Quality Designer role for the Madden team. The AQD position will require you to provide oversight of our quality processes and establish best practices for our analyst family together with our leadership team. You will help oversee the quality plan for a section of Madden QA, will report to a QA Development Manager, and partner directly with the Producer to agree on the vision for a feature (gameplay, franchise, online). You will ensure the team is focused on providing the strongest end-to-end coverage and experience for EA's players, and to help us support its commitment to putting Players First. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will build working relationships with members of the development, production and design teams to help us promote a higher quality player experience through tasks such as feature planning, analyzing internal data/player data, and feature/design reviews.
  • You will be a mentoring resource for local and remote QA teams, to help us resolve complex problems and growing their capabilities as testers.
  • Propose and bring solutions to problems from senior leadership.
  • End-to-end review of quality strategy, and test plans.
  • Support identification of technical solutions and automation opportunities.
  • Understand current process and workflow – drive improvements and knowledge sharing across the sports QA teams.
  • Report progress and status through regular email or face-to-face communication with appropriate managers and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for quality and game design.
  • Two years or equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge of gaming consoles and their systems.
  • Knowledge of testing/planning tools

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

PAY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $32 - $49 USD Hourly
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $29 - $49 USD Hourly
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $36 - $49 USD Hourly
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $29 - $40 USD Hourly
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $29 - $44 USD Hourly
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $54,900 - $84,750 CAN Annually

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
