THE ROLE:  

The Global Commercial Segment Marketing team is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of the marketing activities associated with launching a product and bringing it to market successfully. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring that the product reaches the right audience, generates awareness, and achieves the desired market penetration. Our primary focus is to create end user content and activation strategies that drive awareness and sell out of AMD powered PCs to enterprise. This is a cross functional and highly collaborative position, working closely with the business units, regional marketing teams, OEM marketing, global sales leaders and organizations within global marketing.  

 

THE PERSON:  

The AMD Global Commercial Segment marketing organization is looking for an innovative marketing professional to drive commercial marketing plans and global marketing campaigns for the enterprise segment which includes AMD Ryzen PRO powered PC laptops and desktops. The ideal candidate will understand the enterprise landscape, bring fresh thinking on how to drive the B2B marketing strategy and has the ability to influence without authority. You have a track record of bringing end user insights and research into effective campaigns and messaging that drives results. You are a top-notch presenter, with global experience and demonstrated ability to translate technical value propositions to compelling end-user benefits that break through. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop marketing plans that support key business priorities through partnership with the business units and key worldwide marketing leaders  

  • Collaborate across WW marketing (Growth & Performance Marketing, Social, Sales Enablement, and PR) to develop full funnel plans to meet timing and business needs 

  • Represent Ryzen for Business marketing in all core team meetings and communicate all marketing requirements and plan updates  

  • Lead campaign development from strategy through execution for campaigns, including but not limited to, creative development of video, and working with media centers of excellence teams to deliver media strategy and execution 

  • Work with stakeholders to build targeted demand and lead-gen plans 

  • Be the SME on audience persona, journey and insights with the proven ability to shape plans based on data 

  • Partner closely with internal brand/creative team to manage campaign development  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 

  • Significant GTM/Advertising/Marketing experience in the technology industry 

  • Prefer enterprise B2B experience and knowledge of the OEM business 

  • Agency (creative and media) management and creative production experience 

  • Skilled in all MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) 

  • This position requires up to 10% travel 

ACADEMIC CREDNETIALS 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field 

  • MBA a plus
