Brand Research Manager

 

Who are we looking for?

You are a data-savvy marketing research, insights, and analytics specialist with that rare blend of strong interpersonal skills and statistical flair. Together, we will take the brand recently named the fastest growing brand in the USA to new heights!

 

Join us to add business value by improving AMD brand tracking, analysis, and presentation. In this role, you will define the right metrics to identify and measure ROMI. Flexibility of working style and hours is encouraged since this is a global role. It involves working closely with the Brand and Creative team and research agencies, so synthesizing insights into concise summaries that can drive discussion and timely decision-making.

 

You are driven, analytical, goal-oriented – an experienced research analyst with a growth mentality and insatiable curiosity. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, enable you to inspire change, meaning you are comfortable both with virtual communication. You understand the commercial customer, the global gamer, the mainstream consumer, and their buying journeys. The successful candidate will have exquisite attention to detail, sharp critical thinking skills, and is passionate about the power of a strong corporate brand.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day running of brand measurement workstreams, co-ordinate brand research vendors, partner agencies, and research personnel in segment and product marketing teams
  • Own the definition, creation, and implementation of an ideal brand metrics framework, working with existing vendors and analytics tools to develop a primary research calendar and provide insights about AMD target audiences and world-wide brand perception
  • Building corporate brand measurement plans, co-ordinate the implementation and cleanliness of all data collected across the Brand Team; e.g., brand campaign metrics
  • Suggesting and implementing methods to increase brand marketing effectiveness and efficiencies, support brand strategy and growth with meaningful insights
  • Contributing to branding governance, supporting with analytics and tracking to help ensure consistency and improved compliance
  • Handling brand and branding metrics and insights communication, synthesise into a clear, concise, visually appealing brand dashboard delivered monthly

 

Preferred experience:

  • Minimum 8 years work experience in Marketing Research/Intelligence required, preferably in/with both B2B + B2C Technology Brands
  • Demonstrate a track record of running multiple research projects to defined briefs working with cross-functional, global teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills combined with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Sound experience working with raw data from Google Analytics, CRM (Salesforce), social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Meltwater, Khoros) and building compelling visualizations to convey key insights
  • Happy prioritising and working in a self-directed manner, accountable to clear goals

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant BA or BSc, for example in Business, Marketing, Psychology, or Statistics, with a demonstrably strong understanding of data analytics required, e.g., Market Research Society (MRS) Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice
  • Strong Computer proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Workfront, Google Analytics, and as well as statistical software platforms such as SPSS, SAS, and Market Sight
