Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Business Operations Manager to serve as a pricing and margin analytics resource and structure and execute analysis that uses data from disparate sources to enhance strategic decision-making.  Prepare business reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial, quote and pricing information.  Develop and manage tracking processes for strategic initiatives, pilots, and executions.  Identify and recommend improvements to tools, templates, and processes.  Support other pricing team members in analytics.  Develop multiple ways to effectively address problems and implement those which add greatest value.  Make recommendations based on limited and imperfect information.  Present financial detail that builds a solid business case around recommendations.  Create executive level presentations on pricing strategy and other relevant topics.  Drive the implementation of sales and business processes in IT.  Utilize solid business and financial acumen when analyzing financial impact.  Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and profitability.  Work on key strategic projects for key Business Operations initiatives aimed at improving processes and results.  Use knowledge of the technology industry, sales, and products to holistically understand customer pricing.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Business Operations, or Data Science.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: 12 months in the job offered or closely related business analyst or operations role

Alternate combination of education and experience:  None

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires experience in the following:

  • Creating reporting dashboards using Power BI;
  • Analytics and Data Management to identify market insights and trends, monitor KPIs, and conduct root cause analysis with regard to pricing strategies;
  • Defining technical requirements for system integration with Salesforce, ModelN, Pricefx, Snowflake, Power BI, or SAP;
  • Data Science in R;
  • Data retrieval, curation, and analysis using SQL, R, or Python; and
  • Presenting data analysis and interpretation to management.

 

Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience.
