Business Operations Manager-Data Center GPU

 

THE TEAM:

AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the industry with our AI based Graphic Processors. THE ROLE:

The Business Operations Manager will play a key role within the AMD Data Center GPU Business Unit. This individual will be part of a high performance and dynamic team providing support for all BU operations including organizational processes, tools, and efficiencies; pricing strategies; product lifecycle management; business planning; customer and partner contracts; as well as managing overall operating and capital expenses for the business unit.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Oversee the Long-Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, including cross-functional team and executive reviews
  • Develop and drive pricing strategies across customers, channels, and products across the product lifecycle - to include the creation of incentive programs, support, and demand generation and co-marketing funds as appropriate to achieve the BU revenue and margin targets
  • Provide input to customer and partner contracts as needed
  • Establish and maintain effective tracking processes for organization's KPI's and deliverables, requirements for success, and drive closure of critical gaps and escalations
  • Lead strategic initiatives to drive process improvements and address organizational efficiencies
  • Build effective working relationships across multiple functions and organizational levels
  • Lead effective executive-level discussions 

 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience at a key server OEM, high-tech, graphics, or PC company is desired (example, Intel, NVIDIA, Dell, HPE, Lenovo)
  • Minimum of 8 years prior experience in business planning, finance operations, or business operations management
  • Must enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and have outstanding teamwork skills
  • Must have a passion for innovation, be comfortable defining a way forward in the face of ambiguity, and have the ability to scale and influence broadly
  • Must be able to multitask, show great attention to detail, and build positive influence and relationships at all levels 
  • Excellent communication and MS office skills

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Business or Technical degree required; Graduate degree desired.
