Riot Game Operations organization makes building and delivering player experiences at Riot easy, scalable and sustainable. As the Business Strategist II, you will be a member of the Strategic Advisory (SA) team at Riot Game Operations. We enable insights-informed strategy, and prioritization of opportunities through product/customer discovery, analysis, reporting with ease and sustainability. You will deploy a variety of Strategic Advisory skills as a generalist strategist to work on the problem space of operations at Riot. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and apply frameworks for problem-solving, evaluations in the Games Operations space
• Conduct internal customer/product discovery to learn customers’ needs, gather insights, and analyze data to drive solution recommendations
• Work on strategy planning and run analysis of complex problem spaces that span Dev Studio growth strategy, demand analysis, business operations and insights
• Design reporting system that has clear strategy behind and can surface direct insights to drive leadership’s meaningful conversations and decision makings
• Partner with game studio operations leads for operations problems identification
• Work or lead insights peers on the team to design and develop central reporting/dashboards
• Have a strong total ownership mindset
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and break down problems into bite-sized tasks
• Develop and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership
• Manage stakeholder expectations and priorities

Required Qualifications:

• BA or BS in Psychology, Economics, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines
• 3+ years professional work experience in consulting, business intelligence, analyzing data and extracting insights. Or MBA in the relevant field.
• Experience in strategy planning, business planning, or business reporting
• Experience creating presentations and convey complex or nuanced topics to senior leadership
• Strong communication and networking skills

Desired Qualifications:

• MBA or other relevant advanced degree
• Experience in financial modeling, business operations and strategy
• Experience in design central reporting, tableau dashboards

(Los Angeles only) This job has a base salary range of $113,900 USD - $147,800 USD + incentive compensation (annual [and long-term]) + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
