Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Business Systems Manager to define and manage business priorities and requirements and drive successful execution of information technology projects and enhancements. Provide research assistance and clarity of business demand specifications and bridge gap between business requirements and IT solutions. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, flow diagrams, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Build use cases around collected requirements/strategic objectives/corporate KPIs and map them into technology test scenarios. Transition requirements to test cases to provide traceability. Conduct unit and integration tests. Analyze the results of system and integrated testing with the business to ensure they meet all business requirements. Support conversion and production cutover efforts. Ensure proper user training and support users in timely issue resolution. Utilize knowledge of computers & electronics, including computer hardware and software, applications and programming, and design techniques, tools, and principles, to develop resolution to critical issues. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development and testing of various finance technology systems utilized in AMD’s business.

Qualifications: Degree required

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Technical Lead, Technical Manager, Technical Architect, Technical Consultant, closely related engineering role.

Alternate combination of education and experience:  Employer will alternatively accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field and Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Technical Lead, Technical Manager, Technical Architect, Technical Consultant, closely related engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires four (4) years of experience in the following:

  • Leading large business system integrations and implementations;
  • Developing predictive modeling tools;
  • Defining core technical infrastructure design;
  • Developing and implementing systems via SAP S4/HANA;
  • Preparing SAP test plans and scripts and performing unit and regression testing; and
  • Developing enterprise architecture roadmaps and leading implementations in SAP.
