About the Role:

Twitch is looking for an Events Marketing Manager to help build and execute the go-to-market campaign for Twitch's first party global community convention, TwitchCon as well as other third-party events happening on Twitch. In this role you will assist in building the overall B2C and B2B campaign strategy and execute marketing campaigns and tactics to drive attendance growth for TwitchCon, and market our creators and content at the event. You will work with the marketing, sales, and content organizations to build and execute the marketing campaign for TwitchCon across owned and operated channels. Additionally, you will partner with marketing, partnerships and BD teams to build marketing campaigns in support of other third party events on Twitch.

You are a data and insights driven marketer with a track record of measurable success building and implementing event strategies. 

Success in this role will require development and execution of sales enablement, understanding the needs of Twitch creators and viewers, and an understanding of measurable brand and communications metrics. The role reports to the Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing.

You Will:

  • Build and execute the TwitchCon marketing strategy and define tactics that promote and influence the successful growth of TwitchCon
  • Collect market intelligence and provide insights on event purchasing behavior, attendee interests, and customer journey on
  • Collaborate with marketing, comms, sales, partnerships, content and community teams ensuring that their program goals are achieved via targeted marketing campaigns
  • Work with marketers across our team and in our company to ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of multi-channel campaigns, build campaign calendars and manage creative approvals and trafficking of channel assets
  • Utilize data and analytics to track campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns 
  • Write effective campaign marketing reports - work with Analytics to collect data, summarize, and report key insights
  • Project manage the requirements and deployment of marketing communications and collateral; including email, web banners, Twitch onsite notifications and other channel marketing to ensure they accurately reflect product/event positioning and key messaging

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing marketing strategies and tactics that successfully market events
  • Experience defining program requirements and using metrics to determine improvements
  • Capability to move easily between generating big ideas, and driving ongoing process improvement
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and demand generation tactics
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Bonus Points

  • Native member of the Twitch community and knowledge of gaming or content creation a plus
  • Passion for events, experiential marketing  and/or large scale fan experiences

Contract Length: 11 months (per length of service policy)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
