As part of the North American communications team, the Communications Advisor, Employee Communications will play a key role in the development, planning and implementation of engaging and impactful employee and change communications strategies that support the business needs of our various internal stakeholders.


What you'll do
•    Provide strategic communication consulting to internal stakeholders to facilitate change and ensure the successful implementation of keys projects and initiatives. 
•    Lead and propose innovative and engaging communication strategies and content that will have a positive impact and connect our various internal audiences.
•    Develop and implement communication plans and related assets, while considering needs and preferences of our internal audiences.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of messaging.
•    Oversee projects by planning and coordinating deliverables, managing deadlines and implementing required actions.
•    Write, edit, and proofread internal communications materials, including emails, newsletters, intranet content, and announcements.
•    Ensure the publication of various communication content developed through our various communication channels according to targeted needs. 
•    Perform other related tasks as needed to contribute to the success of the team and organization.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Communication: Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, impactful messages across all formats.
  • Organizational excellence: Exhibit strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while taking initiative.
  • Strategic vision: Think critically and strategically to develop innovative solutions, anticipate risks, and align communications with business goals.
  • Influence: Build very good relationships with various stakeholders. Show strong human skills to guide and influence those relationships.
  • Problem-solving: Address communication challenges proactively by identifying and implementing effective solutions.
  • Influence and empathy: Demonstrate the ability to inspire and influence others, leveraging active listening and empathy to connect and engage employees.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, or other equivalent training.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Communications, or other relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of change management principles an asset.
  • Proficiency in French
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
