For the existing mobile community of 100M+ active users, EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile launched as a free update in Sept of 2023, marking a new beginning for the future of football on mobile platforms. EA SPORTS FC Mobile provides unrivaled authentic football experience on mobile devices and features more than 15,000 licensed players across over 650 teams and over 30 leagues – including the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, LALIGA EA SPORTS, Bundesliga, and many more.

Reporting to Business Operations Leadership, the Community Engagement Manager will provide user feedback to the development team while also working with our global team of community managers based who manage all social engagements across the brand.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop strategic plans for South East Asia-focused community activations in collaboration with cross-functional teams & manage their execution across multiple social channels

  • You will provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to the development team based on consumer insight through social reporting tools, reviews of player feedback and other best practices

  • You will help build & drive a small group of SEA-focused community managers who will help build a successful community and maintain a dialogue with SEA-based fans

  • You will drive engagement & retention goals through high quality social campaigns that maintain the high standards & licensed IP guidelines of the FC Brand & their partners

  • You will oversee the strategy for localized regional content on FC Mobile’s owned social channels including Facebook & Discord 

  • You will establish relationships with regional KOLS to broaden FC Mobile awareness on regionally relevant YouTube, Instagram & TikTok channels

  • You will represent the team in cross-functional strategic planning, & execution and be accountable for reaching annual/quarterly KPI goals & targets

Qualifications:

  • Min. 5 years of experience in digital / social media, interactive marketing, community /content management, or online gaming; along with experience leading a team of creative individuals

  • Experience building communities & developing strategies for a game with a passionate global fanbase based in SEA

  • Knowledge of gaming & football/soccer and knowledge of their activity and trends in Indonesia & Thailand 

  • Experience managing social channels & reviewing social media analytics and indicators that the industry uses to measure their performance

  • Collaboration skills with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures in multiple time zones
