Job Title: Console ProducerTeam: Football Manager Console & Touch
Location: SI HQ, Here East, London
Reporting to: Head of Production Football Manager Console and Mobile
Position Overview
Sports Interactive are looking for a Producer to join the Football Manager Console and Touch team, to help support and project manage complex and high-quality features for future Football Manager titles. The successful candidate will play an integral part in managing both high-level milestone planning as well as more granular sprint planning whilst demonstrating leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own operational aspects of project management for a small multi-disciplinary team, including reporting, risk assessment and management, capacity planning and resource management.
- Collaboration with the wider Football Manager delivery teams on product topics.
- Align with development teams to ensure effective collaboration and delivery between departments and effective dependency management.
- Set goals and plan towards long-term project features as well as executing short term deliverables.
- Ongoing Backlog grooming and task management.
- Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Identify potential issues and risks in advance and be a proactive problem solver.
- Alongside discipline leads, organise, run and iterate on Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective sessions.
- Review and improve processes and tools to improve quality, efficiency, and team effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Previous experience in a Production role is Essential.
- Extremely organised and able to deal with competing priorities across multiple projects.
- Experience working with and good knowledge of Jira is preferable but not essential.
- Natural collaborator and listener, decisive when called upon.
- Understanding of Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, and/or waterfall production methods
- Understanding of and passion for games, UI, UX, design, football, and/or project management
- Able to adapt to evolving workflows and project requirements.
