Representing Ubisoft's interests with government authorities, institutions and the business community, the Director of Corporate Affairs is responsible for all of Ubisoft's corporate activities in the provinces of Quebec and the Maritimes. He/she will work in collaboration with the various studios in these provinces and will report to Ubisoft's Assistant Vice President of Corporate Affairs.


For the provinces of Quebec and the Maritimes in Canada, the main and usual duties of this job are:

  • Represent Ubisoft's interests with the company's various current and potential partners: governmental, institutional, diplomatic, financial, corporate, academic and others;
  • In collaboration with the Assistant Vice President, identify, evaluate and propose new partnership axes that meet the challenges of Ubisoft's studios and general services;
  • Analyze files and issues related to the company or the digital entertainment industry (immigration, taxation, intellectual property, etc.) and recommend courses of action in collaboration with internal experts;
  • Write arguments, letters and briefs to support the company's files, positioning and vision;
  • Manage, coordinate, implement and follow up on investment projects with various internal and external stakeholders in Quebec and the Maritimes;
  • In collaboration with the communications team of Ubisoft Montreal, Quebec, Saguenay, Sherbrooke, Halifax and the head office, evaluate the relevance of various forms of partnerships, donations and sponsorships to position Ubisoft as a key player in these regions;
  • Act as a director or member of various boards of directors or working groups related to his/her responsibilities within the company;
  • Act as a representative of the head office in Quebec and the Maritimes during speaking engagements.
  • Significant experience in a related field: strategic business and/or government relations;
  • Proven experience in team management and public speaking;
  • Strong interpersonal, relational and public speaking skills; and excellent writing skills;
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with management and external partners; Integrity and trustworthiness;
  • Very good ability to manage and follow up on projects; Sharp analytical skills; Proactive and proactive;
  • Knowledge of the video game industry, an asset.
