THE ROLE:

As an individual contributor the successful candidate will be responsible for demand management in the Customer Operations organization within AMD Operations with the end goal of supply assurance to customers. Supply assurance responsibilities include review and analysis of customer/distributor forecasts, monitoring new products orders for seamless transition into volume production, review customer/distributor backlog and expedite requests, cross functional engagement with planning and logistics teams, and identifying action to drive improved delivery performance. The success of this roles requires quick prioritization of key initiatives and ability to operate independently for most assigned tasks. Individual may also need to support any customer operations related activities and projects as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as the Voice of the Customer/Distributor to internal Operations stakeholders
  • Actively works with both internal and external stakeholders to meet customer’s supply needs
  • Analyzes forecast and demand data to ensure Customer Supply assurance
  • Provide support to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all customer fulfillment areas, including customer forecast, program management, order management and key customer management
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to drive innovative solutions to improve delivery performance and overall customer experience
  • Effective attainment of key metrics (KPIs)
  • Cross regional/functional engagement to share best practices and project management to drive continuous improvement on processes and policies to improve organizational performance
  • Staying informed about industry trends and competition  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years experience preferred in Supply Chain Operations
  • Fresh graduates who apply should demonstrate knowledge in the areas of supply chain or operations
  • Ability to develop and execute multiple strategic priorities and approaches through strategic thinking and problem solving skills to meet objectives & deliver results
  • Strong business acumen, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and demonstrated success in collaborating with customers to resolve issues and develop solid business relationships
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite: Excel/PowerPoint/Visio and database reporting tools (SQL, PowerBi, etc.), familiarity with SAP is preferred

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • A bachelor’s degree, B.S. in Business or related discipline, Supply Chain / Operations preferred
