CVP Product Marketing

 

THE ROLE

The Corporate Vice President of Product Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to effectively position and promote AMD products in the market.  The role is responsible for the development of product value propositions, go-to-market strategies and sales enablement across the client product portfolio. She/he will develop strategies to achieve competitive advantage, champion new ideas, be an innovative and creative thinker, influence key decision makers across the client ecosystem. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and execute GTM strategy for the client product portfolio
  • Maintain deep understanding of emerging technologies in relevant markets, understand market trends, customer requirements, usage and buying behavior, and the AMD partner ecosystem to better identify market opportunities for client product offerings.
  • Own and maintains deep customer and external ecosystems relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, marketing, etc. to ensure seamless alignment and effective execution of client product marketing initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles in leadership and management.
  • Powerful and effective presentation and storytelling skills to translate the big picture into actionable plans.
  • Creative thinking combined with a meticulous eye for detail, facilitating the development of innovative and compelling marketing materials.
  • Experience with mass communications to reach a large and diverse audience through various channels
  • Event Planning: Experience with planning and executing marketing campaigns for events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, software development, and emerging technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, driving them to achieve exceptional results.
  • Strategic Thinker: A strategic mindset with a strong ability to translate vision into executable plans.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Innovation: A strong drive for innovation and a commitment to staying at the cutting edge of technology.

EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Marketing or a related field; MBA or other advanced business degree is a plus.
