Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring Data Analytics Manager to develop or apply mathematical or statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information. Support creation of a data lake housing all of marketing’s information and eventually own all queries and reporting requests. Work across Brand, Digital, Social, and Communications teams to become single source of all marketing KPIs and marketing intelligence. Work with analytics team to help drive the analytics strategy for Corporate Marketing, including unlocking insights and guiding the business. Work with the regional marketing teams as they design campaigns and analyze/quantify the impact of these marketing efforts to AMD’s revenue/units or margin growth. Query large enterprise data warehouses using SQL, integrating data from multiple sources with appropriate data structures to support longitudinal analysis. Assemble dashboards to communicate data insights and convey a story. Oversee ad hoc data requests for Board, AMD’s executive team, and CMO’s office.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering and Management, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in job offered or closely related data analytics, sales operations, or pricing consulting role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
- Tableau or Power BI;
- MS SQL server or Snowflake SQL;
- Alteryx;
- Data science workbench: Jupyter, Airflow, or Spyder; and
- Predictive modeling and forecasting.
