The Prod Tech Data Domain Director will oversee and manage the Prod Tech data domain. This role involves driving the strategy, governance, and execution of data initiatives within assigned domain and to ensure data quality, accessibility, and value creation.

In this role, we are looking for someone with a blend of technical expertise and strong previous management experience to guide cross-functional teams in achieving data-driven goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a data strategy for the assigned domain, aligning closely with stakeholders and Data Office functions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for domain-specific data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and data governance.
  • Develop and oversee the roadmap for domain data products and services, including prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Identify and seize opportunities for data-driven insights and improvements within the domain.
  • Monitor and optimize the domain’s budgets with care and precision.
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards, stewardship practices, and governance compliance, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Foster collaboration with other Data Domains and Data Office functions, ensuring open and effective communication.
  • Share domain goals, progress, and outcomes with peers, senior management, and stakeholders with clarity.
  • Inspire, mentor, and nurture a team of data professionals, including recruitment, performance management, and professional development.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance data management, analysis, and visualization, staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Extensive experience in data management, data engineering, data architecture, or a related field, with a demonstrated history of management roles.
  • Proven management skills, with a successful track record of guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on delivering practical and scalable solutions.
