Data Warehouse Informatica Developer

THE ROLE: 

Join our organization in delivering operational excellence as we expand our data warehousing and analytics systems.  Our team manages our corporate data warehouse solutions, providing critical information for management reporting, financial reporting, and machine learning models.  We build and maintain data pipelines, prepare analytical models, assist business stakeholders in using information systems, acquire new datasets as needed, and troubleshoot data issues.  We are looking for a skilled ETL developer to join our team.

THE PERSON: 

A successful candidate possesses demonstrated ability in data warehousing, ETL development, and data analytics. Experience with Informatica, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft tabular models is desirable.  Experience in working with data from SAP S/4 HANA is also helpful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Informatica, populating primarily Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, or SAP HANA databases.
• Enable monitoring and alerting for critical data pipelines and resolve issues with pipelines as they are encountered.
• Assist users in accessing data and in using existing analytical tools such as Microsoft Power BI to complete their analysis.
• Design data models, working with business stakeholders to understand requirements, and structuring the models for easy access by business users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues within the data warehouse.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Expert level skills in Informatica and data warehouse environments.
• Experience in working with cloud data warehouse systems such as Snowflake.
• Experience in leading analytical tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.  Experience in working with Microsoft tabular models is a plus.
• Experience working with large amounts of data, optimizing queries and data pipelines to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Excellent communication & Microsoft office skills.

• Passion for attention to detail & organizing information  
• Ability to drive to tight deadlines as a part of a global, horizontal team

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Science, or related disciplines.  Relevant experience will also be considered if degree is in other areas.
