Developer Relations Manager 1- 101863

 

The Role:

We have a Partner Alliance role passionate about maintaining Customer, Vendor, and Internal Engineering relationships in regards to handling our Approved Components.

In this role you will work with ecosystem partners, internal stakeholders and other alliance managers for overall management of our AVL processes.

In addition to overall Approved Components management, you will also mange embedded controller partners for enabling of their controllers in AMD systems.

You may also be required to assist with other areas of partner management on as needed basis.

 

The Person:

We are looking for a self-starter passionate about new technologies, able to move in fast paced environments with little to no direction and with the ability to communicate at all levels of business from C Level to Engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement with 3rd party organizations for roadmaps, features, and philosophy alignment on the technology areas of focus
  • Maintain the client Approved Components list across all client programs and Convert the list from Excel to Database for ease of publication and maintenance.
  • Drive component exception process and final determinations with key program partners
  • Collaborate with and support our validation teams for improved time to issue resolution and easier tracking of testing on list
  • Participation with industry standards bodies responsible for the technologies that the successful candidate will represent
  • Supervising industry trends, technology transitions, to be able to efficiently forecast future SOC requirements, spanning up to a 5-year horizon in key focus areas
  • Ability to quickly understand and adapt to drive technology in new areas of development

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Able to understand and drive the maintenance of the Approved Components list from Excel to SQL
  • Ability to drive consistent process improvement for Approved Components List - publication / result tracking / exceptions approvals
  • Ability to drive ecosystem partners on areas of engagement

 

Academic Credentials:

Bachelors or master’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with emphasis on computer architecture preferred.

 

Location:

Markham, Canada or Austin, Texas
