The opportunity

Unity is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Software Developer to be part of our Release Engineering Tools Team. This team is responsible for a number of key internal and external tools and systems. We directly support Unity customers, particularly in the area of bug reporting workflows, as well as internal developers in a variety of important areas across the organization. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in developing and maintaining tools that are at the centre of critical operations, as well as a passion for improving developer workflows.

What you'll be doing

  • Working on key tools that are critical to internal and external customers
  • Contribute to the planning of future software projects that are key to the success of our customers
  • Engage with other teams at Unity who are all working towards improving the quality of our live releases and our customer experience
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Foundations in C# / .NET
  • Understanding of fundamentals of data management - databases and APIs for migration, transformation, and storage
  • Committed to quality and future-proofing through documentation and effective unit testing
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn
  • Excellent written / spoken communication in English
