Developer Support Engineer, Customer Success, SyncSketch

We are searching for an experienced software developer to join our customer success team at Unity. Customer Success is our presence on the ground, interacting with clients to tackle any adoption and integration concerns, and working internally with product & engineering teams to ensure a positive experience for the customer.
The person we are looking for loves and has a history of translating production workflows into intuitive, effective, and elegant tools and APIs. You enjoy and value conversations with end-users and know how meaningful such conversations are in supporting their success. Advising clients on well crafted, supportable production systems sounds exciting!
We believe that your background is in computer science, but more important is that you have spent time building a portion of a studio’s pipeline and have supported it through multiple projects. Ideally, you feel comfortable sharing informed opinions internally and with clients regarding standard methodologies for user interfaces and APIs.

What you’ll be doing
- Support the growth of the client base through the triage & resolution of software bugs and other technical issues that a client may raise
- Act in an advisory capacity to clients, helping them configure SyncSketch and integrate with our APIs
- Prevent support ticket escalations by understanding how to resolve common technical issues
- Track and call out client issues that require the attention of the product engineering teams
- Write both internal and client-facing documentation that reduces time-to-resolution for common support issues
What we’re looking for
- Experience building content production pipelines
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience developing and supporting APIs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
You might also have
- Familiarity with SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience integrating with packages such as Maya, Nuke, Houdini, etc.
- Foundational understanding of networking protocols and security certificates.
