The Project Management Team within DnA is looking for accomplished people to help us fulfill our mission of building products, features and capabilities for EA titles. As a Dev. Director II you will work with internal and central groups coordinating the development of areas including BI recommendation systems, data pipeline supporting our portfolio of products. You will partner with a global group of extraordinary minds working with Data product experts, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Architects and our Analytics stakeholders to name a few.
Summary
Reporting to the Development Director, you will lead a team to deliver features related to EA live service titles bringing value to players through improving personalization and driving engagement in EA titles.
Responsibilities
- You will partner with Senior DD, Product and Technical leads to establish the strategy to create project milestones and schedule
- Prioritize your team(s) backlog refinement
- Attend daily stand-ups with your team
- Organize, lead daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives and other team meetings with your scrum team(s)
- Develop a repeatable structured approach for capturing and describing the key enterprise information
- Create work estimates, track progress, and report status in the form of burn up/down charts
- Understand the business priorities and keep the team on track by encouraging communication and collaboration
- Drive execution from concept to live (estimates, tasks, change requests, bugs)
- Act as scrum master for a cross-functional development team
- Evaluate individual performance and potential of team members, provide appropriate recognition or constructive feedback
- Form close working relationships with discipline leads, provide regular coaching and mentoring
- Manage stakeholder communication and requirements
- You will work with internal and external partners to ensure that quality, budgets and timelines are met.
- You will inspire fresh thinking and new ideas to ensure the team has the best organizational structure and practices to allow them to produce high quality on time and on budget.
- You will help develop a team culture based on openness, trust and collaboration.
- You will be responsible for coaching and career development of your reports.
Qualifications
- You bring 7+ years Project Management
- You have a track record of delivery of large critical software projects (20+ team members, multi-million dollar budgets).
- Leadership skills:
- You have the ability to excite and drive a multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovation through collaboration.
- You have the ability to drive outcomes across all levels of an organization, build partnerships, and solve critical priorities.
- You have the ability to set clear objectives, and monitor execution towards those objectives.
- You have excellent knowledge of software development processes, with significant project and risk management experience.
- You are an inclusive and development-orientated people manager, who has managed both people within your area of expertise, and those who sit within other job families.
- You have experience with software development, data, analytics, and have managed data related projects or as components of projects.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. BASE SALARY RANGES • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $133,400 - $193,200 CAN Annually Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. |
