As a member of the Transformation and Governance team, you’ll be joining Ubisoft IT as a DevOps Linux Administrator. You will create and improve Gitlab CI/CD pipelines for our development teams. Working as a part of this team means using lots of technologies, automation, and cloud infrastructure.

We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.

What you'll do 

  • Work with DevOps best practices and implement CI/CD pipelines to design, and build systems that are scalable, stable, and efficient;
  • Monitor system and identify patterns that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of a product or service and drive them out of the system through automation or other technical innovation;
  • Participate in the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices, and metrics;
  • Implement automation of recurrent tasks through scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Go;
  • Maintain documentation regarding configurations and operations procedures;
  • Participate in post-mortem and root cause analysis;
  • Participate in the evaluation of new requirements; technical designs, definition of standards, guidelines, best practices, and metrics;
  • Troubleshoot incidents;
  • Answer user’s query and service requests;
  • Be available for on-call rotations.

As a DevOps Linux Administrator, you focus on managing computer systems and software smoothly. You're quick to adapt and troubleshoot when things get tricky. Clear communication is your strength, helping you work well with different teams. When problems arise, you stay calm and solve them carefully. You're always learning to improve systems and processes. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience: 

  • Expertise in Linux operating systems such Centos, RHEL and Debian;
  • Excellent knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Go and Python;
  • Good knowledge of DevOps philosophy (CI/CD);
  • Good knowledge of automation, orchestration tools, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes;
  • Good knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch/Logstash /Kibana) and other monitoring tools such as, Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog;
  • General knowledge of Cloud providers such as AWS, Google, Azure.
