This role will lead the merchandising strategies and growth for Pokémon Center Canada by driving digital engagement with new and existing customers with a focus on conversion and sustainable growth across all categories – while supporting Global (US and UK) as needed

What you’ll do

  • Work with cross functional partners (Merchandise Development, Creative, Planning, Editing and Marketing) to drive best-in-class visitor experience by developing a deep understanding of site performance, business analytics and customer experience to drive top-line growth.
  • Leverage e-commerce principles, analytics, and general business expertise to identify opportunities to improve conversion, product page views, average order value, units per transaction, and add to cart rates, driving incremental engagement and sales.
  • Manage day-to-day product maintenance and participate in product data validation efforts to ensure PDPs are brand appropriate and richly detailed for launch.
  • Proactively use PIM system to locate products in an incomplete state in order to clean up, enrich, and correct any product data issues.
  • Work closely with Ecommerce team managers to report weekly on website merchandising strategies by providing insights and recommendations on effective product presentations through available web analytic tools.
  • Partner with Global Digital Merchandising Team on setting Editorial Calendar for Canadian Site and building content to support editorial plans.

               

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Digital Merchandiser for an online retailer
  • Experience with Content Management Systems and Product Information Management systems a plus
  • Proficiency with Excel and website analytics tools like Google Analytics or Omniture/Adobe Analytics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Competency in the French Language (France or Canada) a plus, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible with problem-solving to meet objectives
  • Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity as business needs change

  • Base salary range: $102,000.00 - $152,000.00. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. It is common for TPCi to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
