THE ROLE:

The Director of Customer Quality Engineering drives product quality across internal organizations and ensures high standards of customer quality experience with robust strategies to exceed internal and external customer expectations.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate should have strong technical leadership who is self-driven, highly motivated, and a highly effective team player in leading and growing a team of engineers. You should cultivate and influence quality culture and mindset across internal organizations and external customers to ensure mutual success with highest quality standards. You should have strong foundation in customer experience/relations, technical problem solving, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute strategies to build strong partnership with customers and internal organizations to enable high quality experience and continuous improvements.
  • Actively represent customer voice with internal partners to translate/formulate actions that drive positive quality perception.
  • Passionately lead and develop a team of customer quality engineers to be a high-functioning, highly effective team in delivering to internal and external customer expectations.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Must be an outstanding communicator with ability to adjust content to the target audience.
  • Drive innovative processes and infrastructures that enable success of product quality and customer manufacturing.
  • Defining and manage Key Program deliverables/schedules/budget/Analyze program risk and opportunities & monitor progress to drive to ensure goals are met.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in managing customer quality and reliability in Client and Server CPU industry.
  • Experience in managing and leading a cross-geo, cross-discipline engineering team.
  • Effective team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and building strong, lasting network.
  • Lead & Drive for solutions and an aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, analytical, project management, task & time management and excellent executive presentation & communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in computer organization/architecture, semiconductor manufacturing, test, qualification, failure analysis, and customer assembly/manufacturing

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

BSEE, MSEE or equivalent with direct experience
