The Role:

As Director, Program Management, you will be Chief of Staff driving strategic alignment and communications across AMD’s GPU roadmap, including Radeon Gaming, Instinct Data Center GPU, Client APU and Mobile.  You will support the Radeon Power and Performance Group CVP, driving key decision making and strategic business objectives.  You will lead RPPG Program Management Office to enable delivery of competitive PPA across the roadmap.

 

The Person:

You have outstanding communication and presentation skills, strong analytical/problem-solving and program management skills. You are self-directed, a strategic problem solver, able to handle complexity and ambiguity. Finally, you can work effectively and lead through influence in a cross-functional/matrixed organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advisement and coordination for RPPG leadership team to drive decision making processes and execution of the strategic business objectives.
  • Develop collaterals (presentations, pre-reads, communications) for the CVP on internal and external activities through original contribution and/or collaboration with executives and senior leaders across RPPG.
  • Represent the CVP in requested meetings, synthesizing and abstracting complex information into clear messages and action plans.
  • Effective stakeholder management and relationship building; especially with the G&E Chief of Staff community to ensure alignment, understanding and resolution of strategic, operational and organization development gaps.
  • Plan and define the right tactical strategic topics for Direct Staff and facilitate efficient meetings. Lead the Program Management Office to drive end-to-end project execution and business operational discipline.
