The Role

We are looking for a Director of Engineering with a proven track record working in the EDA/CAD domain on the construction, analysis, and signoff domains of RTL2GDS design process in sub-7nm technologies. You will be leading a global development and support team to ensure the successful deployment of CAD flows and methodologies. The candidate will deliver CAD flows and infrastructure using state-of-the-art commercial or in-house developed tools to streamline the design process to increase productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Static Timing Analysis (STA) and Electrical Migration/IR Drop (EMIR) teams
• Responsible for RTL to gate validation and gate to gate validation (LEC, RDC, CDC, etc.)
• Responsible for 3DIC analysis, and signoff
• Enable flows and technologies on advance technologies on N3 and N2
• Drive goals with various cross functional teams to identify clear roles and responsibilities, understand dependencies, and deliver complete solutions to our customers
• Work with CAD Methodology teams to complete specification, implementation, and roll out new methodologies and tool adoptions
• Actively improve productivity and efficiency of design teams by collaborating with design teams and identifying areas of improvement
• Drive competitive analysis and tool evaluation to find the best solution for the task

Preferred Experience

• 15+ Years in the CAD/EDA domain
• Solid management and leadership skills to managing a functional team across multiple geographies
• Detailed understanding of the RTL2GDS design process
• Detailed understand of the EDA market segments and the state-of-the-art tools and methodologies
• Experience in growing expertise within the team and creating effective organizations
• Agile and adoptable to constantly changing business requirements
• Experience working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment, and ability to travel as needed
