The Role:
We are looking for our next team member to join our Commercial sales team, reporting into the Head of EMEA Enterprise Channels, to build AMD’s channel business through our customers’ enterprise server, graphics, and client business across the UK and Ireland region. Using this partner-facing role to drive business development with Distributors and VAR Partners by evangelising AMD technology, building and executing sales programs, enabling sales teams through training, managing executive relationships.

- An established background and relationships with IT Distributors, VARs and OEMs (eg. HPE, Lenovo, Dell)
- Sales experience across a range of enterprise IT solutions including server and client
- Ability to influence and project-manage global, cross-functional teams
- Executive presentation skills to multiple partners: customers, analysts, technical specialists and business leaders
- Proven success in comparable roles, developing strong Channel Partner relationships which have led to sales success
- Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to build relationships and influence Executive contacts
- Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Must possess strong follow-up and closing skills
- Strong work ethic
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets/quotas
- Discover, build, grow and close incremental business opportunities within EMEA Reseller and Distribution Channel selling AMD Commercial Server and Client products
- Discover, build, grow and close incremental business opportunities within the key OEMs
- Teamwork with AMD Enterprise End-User and OEM sales teams in support of the Commercial business
- Collaborate with AMD Channel Marketing to develop AMD platform communications, enablement events and training that articulate the benefits of AMD powered solutions
- Ensure AMD has relevant attention within key Local OEM’s sales, marketing and executive management
Preferred Experience:
- Proven years of sales experience within a related industry or segment
- Local Channel Partner experience highly desired
- International business experience preferred
Academic Credentials:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Location:
United Kingdom, within 1 hour access to London and its international airports
