Power Optimization and Modeling Co-op/Intern


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand design architecture, features and functionality
  • Work with design team to fix RTL design
  • Develop and run power regression
  • Check power report and find power reduction opportunities
  • Define power target for use cases
  • Trade off among power, area, timing
  • Build power modeling, verify and improve accuracy
  • Explore methedologies and algorithms to improve power modeling build

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of digitial design and flow
  • RTL coding for complex design
  • CPU, GPU, multimedia, or IO design knowledge
  • Sufficient scripting skill
  • Big data analysis capability 


Academic Credentials:

  • MS or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or related
