Lead Windows Graphics KMD Software Architect
THE ROLE:
Windows graphics kernel mode driver (KMD) architect
THE PERSON:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and upbeat leader to join our team to help us deliver leading-edge GPU solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical decisions, roadmap, and future products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage and lead graphics SW architecture and development from concept to production.
- Influence the hardware architecture with concrete data and feedback from the GPU programming research work.
- Drive innovation by staying current with the latest advancements in GPU industry standards and trends.
- Define, design, and scope GPU software architecture which brings the best out of the GPU HW architecture for the final product launch.
- Help define winning GPU IP solution by engaging in HW/SW co-design with GPU HW architecture.
- Participate in GPU software development in design, mentorship, and problem solving needed to ship industry leading solutions.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- In depth experience and knowledge in GPU driver development, GPU Graphics APIs, GPU Compute, and ISV enablement.
- Understand GPU graphics rendering with firsthand experience in programming models, feature development, and interactions with hardware and software architects to find solutions for the current and future GPU products.
- Deep knowledge of GPU technologies, ASIC programming models, system-wide optimization technologies and approaches, and SW design patterns.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with performance optimization techniques for high-throughput computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to engage and guide technical teams.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., master’s or Ph.D.) is preferred.
