We are searching for a dedicated Financial Controller to join our recently established office in Boston. You will be responsible for all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. If you're interested in such a challenge, join us! 

Daily Responsibilites: 

  • Ownership of the Month Close Process covering General Ledger Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet, Fixed Assets, Various Adjustments, Bank Reconciliations and more across multiple NA locations, legal entities. 
  • Provide Key Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Financial, Cash and Consolidation Reports to management and leadership teams.
  • Develop and maintain Studio and Project Budgets (both short and long term).
  • Payroll oversight, processing and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and complete Financial Records. 
  • Treasury and Banking Function, AP, AR, Payments.
  • Build financial processes and systems from the ground up to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Streamline financial workflows and reporting to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and technology integration.
  • Working with external tax partners to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience (preferably in Video Game or other Technology Industry). 
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations for multiple legal entities.
  • Exposure to international finance experience, with the ability to work effectively across borders.
  • Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Prior experience in building and improving financial processes and building financial teams. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (SAP By Design, Excel, PowerBi, Concur).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently across all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
  • Ability to “dig into problems” and find solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Exception attention to detail and ability to produce error-free results 
  • Working knowledge of OKRs to set and track strategic objectives and key results.

This job requires working in Boston, US.
Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.
