With Prodigy, kids practice standards-aligned skills in Math and English as they play our fun, adaptive learning games. All with teacher and parent tools to support their learning in class and at home.
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with our Game Data team, applying your analytical skills to support the enhancement of our Math and English games. You will contribute to our understanding of game performance, user engagement, and overall business outcomes by exploring, analyzing, and visualizing data.
\n- Build, transform and leverage a diverse set of game datasets in support creating visualizations and extracting insights for product stakeholders.
- Develop refined data models to predict and analyze user behaviours and learning outcomes, directly influencing the development of our Math and English games
- Build a deep understanding of feature performance within the game, leveraging statistical and machine learning (ML) techniques to assist product owners in enhancing our game
- Conduct A/B testing and other experimental designs to create and validate hypotheses, measuring the impact of new game features
- Continuously learn and apply new analytical techniques and tools relevant to data science in the gaming industry
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- You have 1-4 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a focus on data modelling
- You have a passion for games or product gamification
- You are proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in other statistical analysis tools
- You excel in problem-solving, demonstrating the ability to gather, organize, analyze, and communicate large amounts of information with precision and attention to detail
- Your strong communication skills allow for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the presentation of findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with DBT, Databricks, or similar tools.
- Interest or experience in game analytics or product gamification.
