Amazon Games is looking for a Live Operations Producer to support the live operation of our massively multiplayer online game, New World. This role is located in Irvine, California, and works closely with our Live Product Owner, Release Managers, Community Managers and Publishing team to ensure the health of our live game.

In New World, players will fight for survival as they explore and conquer the mysterious island of Aeternum. As a Live Operations Producer on our team, you will work across multiple verticals to help drive and facilitate the ongoing operation of New World. In this role you:
  • Foster essential business relationships with partners and customers
  • Develop and track ongoing deliverables of the live environment and services to our game
  • Participate in on-call escalations and guide teams who are on-call to restore services to players
  • Work with partner teams to identify optimization opportunities and drive the schedule for title updates, content releases, live events, and offers
  • Manage the planning, tasking, and tracking of live operation initiatives
  • Proactively alert leadership to potential risks and provide mitigation strategies
  • Oversee the inflow of live issues, triage and submission process for patches
  • Communicate status of live operations to the team
  • Helping the development team ship the best possible games
  • Be in touch with the player’s expectations and market changes to help the teams steer their vision into the right direction
  • Define and manage the live-operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality updates and DLC’s
  • Work closely with the rest of internal teams to market updates across multiple platforms

  • 3+ Years Public Relations or Community facing experience
  • 3+ Years QA experience
  • Experience working with Steam to publish titles
  • Familiarity with Twitch
  • Deep interest and understanding of the industry and games
  • Being a gamer is a must
  • Proactive approach, high sense of ownership and a team player’s mindset
  • Ability to think on your feet and respond to rapidly changing data sets in real time
  • Knowledgeable of game industry trends and enjoys playing games
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
