We are looking for talented freelance Capture Artists to work full-time at our new El Segundo, California studio. This role requires you to be in the office three days a week and allows remote work for two days. Ideal candidates should be creative, technically skilled, and passionate about video games. A love for filmmaking and strong skills in framing shots are important. Experience with video editing and Adobe Premiere is a plus. This freelance job may lead to a permanent position in the future.
We appreciate a diverse range of creative talents and don't expect every candidate to meet all requirements listed below.

Key Responsibilities

• Help plan and develop projects.
• Record gameplay and other in-game content for trailers and promotional videos.
• Work with other capture artists to create promotional materials.
• Select shots and prepare bins for the video editor.
• Collect and organize video files, encode and decode raw footage into various usable formats.

Who We're Looking For

• Someone who pays close attention to detail and follows directions well.
• Has a good eye for video quality and shot composition.
• Skilled in different areas of video post-production.
• Has advanced knowledge of video capture and editing knowledge.
• Is enthusiastic, works well in a team, and is eager to grow in the video game
  industry.

Skills Needed

• Good with Adobe Premiere and other Creative Suite tools (After Effects, Media Encoder, etc.).
• Experienced in recording gameplay directly from game builds or using replay tools.
• Knows how to work with game debugging systems.
• Has played KRAFTON games like PUBG on PC and used features like the PUBG Replay Editor.
• Strong at communicating, both in speaking and writing, and can help plan video content.
• Understanding of Bitrate, Bit Depth and general Video Production Pipeline.
• At least one year of experience in capturing video for games or at an agency.

Extra Skills That Help

• Background in marketing.
• Experience in creating game analysis videos. 
• A serious gamer with deep knowledge of the gaming industry.
• Familiar with sequencing tools in Unreal or Unity engines.
• Ability to edit videos, including trailers, interviews, and other types of clips.
• Real-world experience in cinematography or photography.
• Understands the game development process.
