THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Global Brand Strategy Manager. As AMD continues its remarkable growth trajectory, it is essential to have a strong brand presence that accurately reflects the premium brand that the company represents. We are building a center of brand excellence and this position is vital in elevating the strategic business role that brand plays through the execution, management, and evolution of high-impact brand management programs at scale. The role encompasses both advancing and managing our brand governance strategy while also delivering on critical brand campaigns. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency, integrity, and scalability across our brand initiatives, delivering on brand governance initiatives, compliance standards, brand advocacy programs, and trainings. In addition, this role will drive and deliver on various brand-related projects, campaigns, and strategic initiatives across AMD, focused on brand and branding.
THE PERSON:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of high performers, located across different regions and disciplines, and provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
- Operationalize branding and branding governance to create a center of excellence, honing existing systems and processes to promote and protect the master brand and ensure consistent implementation and adherence to brand guidelines across all brand touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the Global Brand Strategy Manager, focused on campaigns, to identify, plan and execute on integrated, multi-channel brand marketing campaigns as needed to support key business objectives and drive brand awareness.
- Plan and drive the expansion of brand training and workshops to educate employees and external partners on brand guidelines, ensuring a clear understanding of brand positioning and messaging and increasing brand ownership and shared sense of accountability.
- Define and develop company-wide brand education program to foster brand knowledge and literacy and enable each employee to serve as an effective brand advocate.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including WWM, Creative Studio, Creative Campaigns, Marketing Operations, BU Product Marketing teams, regional teams, and Legal, to ensure alignment and compliance with brand standards and guidelines.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Brand Manager or similar role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of brand management principles, guidelines, and best practices, with specific knowledge and familiarity with governance and campaign management.
- Excellent attention to detail, adept eye for visual design, and the ability to ensure consistent brand application across diverse marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and insights to make informed decisions and recommendations regarding brand governance.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media, and content management systems with a proficiency in SmartSheets and Workfront preferred.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
