This Community Manager will support our Battlefield experiences and will be responsible for: Building and maintaining a multi-channel community strategy and leading the execution of community programs, including a large-scale community testing program intended to give our teams real-time feedback on the evolving Battlefield content stream. The Community Manager also plays a role as a liaison between studio and player: engaging with our passionate players, providing analysis on player feedback that gets delivered to developers, and contributing to public communications that players are looking for.
Key Accountabilities

You will develop and implement community programs that cater to diverse player interests. This includes ensuring seamless daily execution of tasks as well as aligning with our teams both domestically and internationally, while delivering audience-relevant feedback to studio, brand, and communications teams.

You will engage with the product to become a subject matter expert, providing valuable context to internal team members and gaining an understanding of player needs

You will participate in defining global community strategies that prioritize a player-first mindset and strengthen Battlefield communities worldwide

You will implement community strategies under the guidance of the Senior Leaders, including the creation of engaging content that strengthens connections between players and the games, as well as with each other

You will partner with other managers across Community, PR, Creator, Social, and other teams to enhance community engagement, ensure consistent messaging, and deliver seamless execution of the tactics/campaign beats

You will produce community insight reports and conduct sentiment analysis using player feedback and data to inform important partners
Requirements

Extensive knowledge of community platforms, including Discord and Reddit

Excel in adapting existing technologies like Discord to meet player and developer needs, and embrace learning new tools that inspire creativity

Successfully guided several projects to completion; overcoming challenges to establish clear goals that met both player and developer requirements

Foster relationships with territory leads and global studio teams to ensure consistent execution of plans worldwide

Grow our community voice, developing a shared culture and identity and maintaining a tight dialogue between the studio, EA, and players that keeps all parties informed

Cultivate relationships with diverse groups of players and sub-communities

Manage patch notes creation, localization, and publishing

Maintain a positive reputation both at work and within the community while engaging and representing the team across multiple platforms, including online, video, and in-person at events, with potential travel for these engagements
Experience and Skills

Mid-Senior level experience in Community Management or related field

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Demonstrated expertise and creativity in developing data-driven insights to evaluate and report on the success of initiatives and efforts

Passion for gaming and learning player motivations and needs

Agile-minded, excels in team environments while managing projects that prioritize high-impact work and navigating challenges

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage global audiences and collaborate with varied levels of internal teams

3+ years of experience with Battlefield
