Graphics Systems Attainment Lead Engineer - 100648

 

The Role:

We are a ground-breaking system engineering team passionate about Desktop GPU (DGPU) products that deliver performance leadership and outstanding power efficiency. Our team is passionate about power and performance with primary responsibilities in emulation, post-silicon bring-up, feature and workload optimization and characterization, debug, and product optimization.

The successful candidate will drive, execute, and debug end-to-end validation and optimization tests for power and performance from emulation to production as well as develop new methodologies and tools to evaluate the silicon, while leaning on groundbreaking technology to deliver product leadership.

You are passionate about technology, continuously seeking to grow, self-starter, with a high sense of accountability and keen determination! You have strong analytical skills, a critical thinker and have outstanding communication and cross-functional influence skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable leader for systems deliverables and optimization in product definition, power attainment and performance attainment
  • Lead and drive graphics products development that meet and exceed metrics
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams in silicon design, board design engineering, program management, systems engineering, customer engineering, product engineering and reliability engineers to develop the most compelling DGPU products in the market
  • Provide systems-engineering leadership in the power and performance domain during pre-silicon planning, post-silicon bring-up, product definition and validation, and production ramp
  • Be the link between systems engineering optimization and our customer systems
  • Collaborate and partner on continuous improvement activities including partnering with product architects, product managers, power and performance architects, emulation and validation teams, board design engineering, customer engineering to deliver graphics solutions optimized for power and performance

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong, proven leadership, critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills
  • Successful candidate must have proven vertical and multi-functional leadership experience
  • Strong technical background in PC systems and graphics
  • Strong understanding of computer organization/architecture and workload analysis
  • Power and performance systems optimization background
  • Deep understanding of digital electronics
  • Strong understanding of power and thermal management
  • Extensive laboratory experience, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Experience and exposure to systems engineering validation and product engineering (yield, foundry process and test) an asset
  • Strong analytical /problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter to drive tasks to completion and be resilient through technical challenges

 

Academic Credentials:

  • A B. Sc. Or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
