AMD is seeking a dynamic, high-energy, results-oriented leader for our Global Datacenter Portfolio Marketing to guide our worldwide outbound marketing team, encompassing AMD’s leading and award-winning datacenter solutions.

 

THE ROLE:

This highly visible, strategic, and cross-functional leadership role will be responsible for developing compelling, customer-centric value stories and creating customer-focused campaigns and messaging across the portfolio to create awareness, preference and demand for AMD’s Data center solutions. You will influence the go-to-market strategy and execution for our Enterprise, CSP, and OEM customers, develop sales enablement materials with Product Marketing counterparts, support thought leadership to enhance the company’s brand and demand generation efforts, and oversee Tier 1 launches. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Enablement, Regional Marketing, and Performance and Growth Marketing teams across the company.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to build, develop, and lead global teams in executing data-driven product and solutions marketing programs. You should excel in telling compelling stories that highlight the outstanding value of a company and its portfolio of solutions, communicate relevant customer use case stories, launch new solution offerings, and lay a portfolio marketing foundation while addressing the evolving needs and growth goals of the business.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scale, develop, and manage a global datacenter portfolio marketing team that excels in its delivery and impact.
  • Develop, execute and manage 360 degree campaigns and programs that breakthrough to enterprise audiences and create demand for AMD’s datacenter portfolio of CPU, GPU, Networking and SW solutions
  • Lead Tier 1 Data Center launches, creating a cohesive customer-facing narrative that connects various internal teams and resonates across enterprise end users through CSP, Partner, and direct channels.
  • Influence and Support GTM strategy, planning, and execution for AMD’s core products and integrated solutions, ensuring awareness, consideration and preference for AMD’s portfolio.
  • Scale industry thought leadership to create relevance and preference with prospects and customers in the marketplace.
  • Support the ideation and creation of strategic sales plays and enablement to accelerate pipeline generation and sales effectiveness.
  • Intimately understand the market and customer needs to build compelling and relevant messaging, campaigns, programs, and value propositions.
  • Develop critical metrics for portfolio marketing, track outcomes, and hold teams accountable through transparent leadership.
  • Collaborate with various internal shared services teams to develop and execute creative, media, demand gen, sales enablement and ABM strategies.

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Progressive experience leading product, solution, and industry marketing functions; second-line management experience highly desired.
  • Proven experience creating demand among enterprise ITDMs and digital native IT users through Cloud, CSP, OEM Partner, and B2B Direct channels, with strong understanding of enterprise customers, AI workloads, and Datacenter Solutions.
  • Experience influencing a matrix organization without authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, empower, expand, and retain talent.
  • Ability to scale portfolio, solution (software and service), and industry marketing across multiple geographies.
  • Experience developing successful portfolio marketing strategies to drive growth with new and existing clients across various industries and geographies.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with a consistent track record of driving alignment and accountability around go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities, including written and verbal.
  • Keen curiosity about and/or understanding of the semiconductor, IT, and AI landscape.
  • Experience in both large and small companies with a mix of Born in Cloud/Digital Native and enterprise experience. 

 ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.

 LOCATION:

  • Austin, TX or San Jose, CA - Up to 30% travel.
