The rapidly changing games industry has influenced the latest digital marketing trends and is one of the few industries with the potential to reach 2 billion worldwide. The Amazon Games Marketing Team is seeking a leader of our Strategic Partnerships team responsible for partnerships, promotions, and integrations across Amazon channels and partners.

This key role will provide the right candidate the opportunity to own strategic partnerships and promotions with focus on Amazon channels and businesses to unlock best in class integrations that engage and delight customers and players and grow the awareness and engagement around our games. You will be joining a data-driven team obsessed with becoming the most customer centric video game publisher.

Success in this role requires long-term strategic thinking combined with the technical knowledge to evangelize and deliver integrations across our games. Requires balance of operational management driving for continuous improvement for ongoing programs while also thinking big and planning longer term integrations and programs. You are strategic and creative yet technical and enjoy collaborating across teams to make things happen. You love data and are comfortable working with designers, engineers, and product managers to get things done.

Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
• Build and execute partnerships both internally with Amazon businesses and with external partners that enhance our games marketing efforts, by identifying strategic opportunities, cultivating relationships, and leveraging resources to drive growth and engagement.
• Participate and drive cross promotional integrations and collaboration across Amazon's global entertainment businesses like Prime Video, Amazon Music, Prime Gaming, etc. and retail organizations.
• Manage the Amazon retail channel and storefront for Amazon Games offerings and coordinate with partner tech teams to drive the functionality that is needed to execute promotions and an elevated customer experience.
• Lead the strategic marketing partnerships team, ensuring growth and development of team members while leading best in class promotions and integrations for Amazon Games.
• Establish best practices and playbooks, drive a culture of innovation, analysis and optimization.
• Lead team in setting KPIs and goals and valuation of programs including results.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of global games market, Amazon internal channels and promotional and strategic priorities across the business.

Basic Qualifications
• 6+ years of relevant experience in marketing partnerships and partner management or digital store management.
• 3+ years experience in digital marketing of games or consumer entertainment.
• History of hiring, managing, and training teams in high-performing cultures.
• Proven analytical skills, comfortable working in data-driven business environments, and ability to solve ambiguous problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Game industry experience.
• Love playing games.
• Knowledge of Amazon retail systems a plus.

A day in the life
This role is the leader of a small team that defines and leads execution of partnerships for our games with focus on internal pan-Amazon partnerships including: Amazon Studios/Prime Video, Amazon Music, Alexa, Audible, Twitch, Prime Gaming, etc. Responsible for representing Amazon Games in internal partnership conversations, defining programs that will deliver results, and managing execution. This role also has a merchandising ops component, managing how our games and products are presented and distributed across Amazon retail including working with product team on feature prioritization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
