Benefit Operations Specialist

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Own the employee benefit administration in accordance with the benefit specific policies, guidelines and processes for respective countries/regions.
  • Follow a structured approach to plan the benefit operations activities in line with the annual employee benefits calendar.
  • Thoroughly follow the SOP’s, process methodologies, metrics and timelines while responding and resolving the benefit queries.
  • Closely work with country HR team to ensure process is working efficiently
  • Efficiently handles employee inquiries and ensures customer centric approach
  • Diligently follows-up on open tickets and queries until closure
  • Closely work and support the Ask HR team for all employee benefit related queries from employees or from other stakeholders.
  • Acts as an interface when needed with ex-employee, third parties (vendors) and/or consultants
  • Stay abreast of the most updated benefit policies, programs and processes.
  • Provide support and coordination on various projects and activities related to the employee benefit operations.
  • Ensure that benefit operations practices are in compliance with current laws and regulation.
  • Prepares data for compensation and benefits analysis

 

 

Skills and Education

 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations covering employee benefit operations and other best practices with a sizeable MNC
  • Familiarity with country specific employment rules and regulations
  • Outstanding attention to details and multi-tasking skills
  • Hands-on experience with any HR software/ERP (Preferably SAP/SuccessFactors)
  • Strong analytical skills, communications (verbal and written) skills and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Flexible and proactive problem-solver, adept at achieving results in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related discipline preferred



At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
